This Stew is made with the legs of our own geese, salted, spiced, and slow casserole cooked in their own sauce. With a fine hunting flavor, it shows countryside traces thanks to its acorn, natural pastures and seeds regime and plus its free range lifestyle.
Ehical, Seasonal and Sustainable
No forced feeding (without “gavage”), cruelty free, focus on animal welfare. Respect for animal’s natural seasonal cycle natural, who instinctively accumulates fat during the winter period, as a preparation for its migration period. Respect for nature, our estate farms are sustainably managed, protecting the ecosystem and its biodiversity “Because the countryside is not a factory”.
A Unique Product
Our geese are raised in freedom on big “dehesa” (acorn countryside mountains) areas in Andalusia (south of Spain). They are fed on seeds, natural grass and the acorn that falls from the trees, so they generate an excellent quality red meat. Our geese do give us a natural, tasty, full of countryside aromas, beautiful product, rounded with thyme and bay leaves.
Pre-heat oven at 180 degrees. Cut the plastic bag on its top and place the contents on a oven-proof dish with the skin side facing up. Place it inside the oven for 10 minutes till you achieve a crunchy texture. We suggest to enjoy it with a puree, potato ”gratin”, chutney, apple , fig or mango marmalade. We recommend a classic and well aged decanted red wine like Bordeaux, Bourgogne, Rioja or Ribera del Duero.
